2025 F1 Season
24 races · McLaren MCL39
The 2025 season confirmed McLaren as the new dominant force and crowned a new generation. With the MCL39, the Woking team had the best car on the grid, and the title became a three-way tug-of-war between its two drivers and a Max Verstappen who refused to give up.
Lando Norris and his young team-mate Oscar Piastri shared wins throughout the year in an in-house duel as thrilling as it was delicate for the team to manage. Verstappen, with a now-inferior Red Bull, seized on every rival mistake to stay in the fight to the end.
It all came down, once again, to Abu Dhabi: Norris delivered the result he needed to be crowned world champion for the first time, by just two points over Verstappen, in one of the tightest finishes in history. McLaren also retained the constructors' title, its first back-to-back double since 1991.

"Abu Dhabi: Norris finishes 3rd, Verstappen wins the race — but Norris takes the title by 2 points."
What if 2025 had been raced 100 times?
We took the real 2025 grid — every car with its performance and reliability, every driver with his rating — and re-ran the full 22-race championship 100 times.

The engine disagrees with history: its favourite was Oscar Piastri (44%), and Lando Norris only wins 38% of the time. That title was won with something a table cannot hold.
