Isack Hadjar
Francés · 2025–presente
Isack Hadjar's Formula 1 debut lasted less than a lap. Born in Paris in 2004 and runner-up in the 2024 Formula 2 championship behind Gabriel Bortoleto, he made his first start with Racing Bulls in Australia in 2025 and crashed on the formation lap, on a wet track. The image of the Frenchman in tears as he walked back to the pits went around the world.
The answer came race by race. He scored regularly in his first season and at Zandvoort he reached the podium, third, from fourth on the grid. He finished twelfth in the championship with 51 points, ahead of more experienced academy team-mates.
That earned him promotion to Red Bull in 2026. With the senior team he returned to the podium in Monaco and in Baku, in a year in which Red Bull kept moving drivers around him while he held on to his seat.
Three podiums in his first two seasons. That formation lap in Melbourne is now just an anecdote.
What if Hadjar had another car?
We took his real attributes and put him in the best car of each era: in a real driver's seat, against the team-mate that car actually had. 30 full seasons in each.
