Paul di Resta came into Formula 1 as DTM champion. A Scot born in 1986 and a cousin of Dario Franchitti, he won the German touring car championship with Mercedes in 2010 and made his debut with Force India the following year. He scored in his first race, tenth in Australia, and ended the year with 27 points and a sixth place in Singapore.
His next two seasons were his best. In 2012, with Nico Hülkenberg as team-mate, he was fourth in Singapore, one step from the podium, and scored 46 points. In 2013 he was fourth again, in Bahrain, and finished the year twelfth in the championship with 48 points, his best result. He never stood on the podium.
For 2014 Force India chose Hülkenberg and Sergio Pérez, and Di Resta went back to the DTM. He had one last race left, an unexpected one: in Hungary in 2017 Felipe Massa fell ill on Saturday morning and Williams called him in without his having driven the car. He started from the back and retired with an oil leak. In all, 59 Grands Prix and 121 points.

The first number is always di Resta's. A team-mate is whoever started the same race for the same team. "In the race" only counts races both finished, because a retirement says nothing about who was quicker. "On the grid" is the starting position, with penalties already applied.
